Don't worry, not everyone avails themselves of the Blogroller - because I am extremely picky about the links I add to my sidebar I add them manually in the template settings (which would in all likelihood prove quite laborious if I were not quite so fussy). Naturally, locked in the fridge is there :)
Thank you for the highly enjoyable comments on Redemption Blues - it has been a tumultuous week in European politics, so I have not been able to post much (including comments on locked in the fridge). However, I still check locked several times a day to see what's new!

I wouldn't worry about it either, we ditched the blogrolls a while ago because they were up and down like a yoyo, now we too just put links straight into the template, which in all honesty, I find easier and quicker than mucking about with a blogroll.

Thank you both kindly for making feel less of an ass. I will now see if I can figure out the linking instead. If not, I will start wearing trusty helmet while blogging - obviously there is grey matter seeping out that needs to be contained.
